OUR APPROACH
LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Years of hands-on experience in the field, education & travel have informed our ever-evolving design aesthetic. By working with the existing landscape and curating systems that are both beautiful and practical we can provide important ecological functions to your gardens that benefit people and biodiversity.
RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL DESIGN
It is a privilege to create landscapes that provide health and abundance for our clients. We combine time-honored design principles with expert knowledge of local plant species to deliver low maintenance, high-impact landscapes. We aim to restore and enhance environments that provide safe spaces for our clients and the natural world.
RESTORATION
Regaining ecological integrity is the first thing to consider when designing a new site. While disturbances on construction sites are inevitable, it is crucial to building back the precious ecosystems within our small island communities. We continue to immerse ourselves in the practices of understanding how to renegotiate these unique systems. Drawing from education in permaculture and regenerative agriculture, we are able to design for the longevity and health of the land and those who live upon it.
HOMESTEAD DESIGN
Whether you’re the new owner of acres of farmland, or you’d like to become more self-sufficient closer to home, a well-thought-out design plan can help you increase the carrying capacity of your land from soil biotics to the fruit in your orchard. Small elements of homestead design can be added to any residential design, as we rely on guilds and polycultures to create something beautiful and sustainable.
We are honored to work within the team United Designers for any project that requires regenerative solutions for increasing the natural capital of your property for ever-increasing abundance.
AGROFORESTRY
Agroforestry is a land-use system that has been practiced around the world dating back centuries. It involves the cultivation and management of integrating trees, shrubs, crops, and/or livestock to produce food, fodder, fuel, and ecologically diverse environments. The implementation of agroforestry practices can be economically and environmentally beneficial depending on the goals of the land.
